The governance of the Malherbe group is organized into different distinct decision-making bodies, each sharing the main principles of transparency, information and ethics. Malherbe Management deploys great responsiveness on a daily basis in operational and strategic decision-making processes, thanks in particular to its pragmatism and permanent communication.

The management

The Management Committee directs and manages the Malherbe group. Made up of two managers, the Committee represents Malherbe’s true desire to continuously maintain a direct relationship between governance and the group’s teams, through the establishment of a short hierarchy.

Alain SAMSON

President

Alain SAMSON has been supporting the growth of MALHERBE for more than forty years. President of the group since 1996, he bought the company in 2001 and considerably accelerated its development.

Alain SAMSON, chairs the group’s Supervisory Board and validates with General Management MALHERBE’s general strategy and external development and growth projects.

Noël SAMSON

General manager

General Manager at MALHERBE for twenty years, Noël SAMSON is responsible for the group’s development strategy and operations. He manages all the group’s businesses, from the organization of transport to vehicle rental, including the management of its own fleet and logistics. Guarantor of procedures and regulations, Noël SAMSON ensures compliance with budgetary and operational commitments, while organizing the group’s development.

Thierry MAUBOUSSIN

Secretary General

General Secretary working at MALHERBE for 5 years, Thierry MAUBOUSSIN’s mission is to implement the financial and administrative policy set by the Management Committee. He is responsible for managing and coordinating the actions of the group’s financial, accounting, administrative and legal services. He ensures the application of all administrative procedures capable of guaranteeing and preserving the major financial balances of the MALHERBE group. He organizes and manages financial relations with our shareholders or our banking partners.

Olivier MICHEL

Deputy General Manager

Deputy General Manager in post at MALHERBE for 2 years,Olivier MICHEL assists and supports the General Director in all his efforts to manage all of the group’s transport and development operations including internationally with the integration of external growth. He is also and more specifically in charge of the organization and development of the group’s logistics activities, the improvement of safety and the training of our rolling staff.

The supervision committee

The Supervisory Committee exercises a control mission with the Management Committee. It can also issue strategic recommendations concerning Malherbe projects. Meeting on a quarterly basis, the Committee is made up of various representatives of the group’s shareholders, as well as external observers.

Created in 1953, Malherbe is today one of the French leaders in the transport of general goods in batches and groupage.

Malherbe has nearly forty agencies located throughout France, each sharing the group’s fundamental values, practices and processes.
